There are, of course, a couple of conditions. First, you must notify us within 30 days of the invoice date that you wish to make a return and receive a Return Authorization Number. Second, shipping and handling costs are not refundable. This includes the cost to ship you your purchase originally, as well as return shipping costs. The cost to ship a gold nugget or specimen is included in your original purchase price and will be deducted from the amount refunded. To make this easy to understand we have a flat shipping and handling charge of $25.00 for gold purchases under $1000.00 and $50.00 for purchases of $1000.00 and over. Return shipping is also your responsibility and we suggest for your safety that you return your purchase via Registered Mail, insured for the amount of the purchase.

Once we have received the item, which must be in it's original condition, you will be issued a refund. In the case of credit card purchases this refund will be to the original purchasing card only. Purchases made by other methods will be refunded by company check.

Example, you buy a $500 nugget and decide to return it. You will receive a refund of $475 ($500 less the $25 shipping & handling fee to send you the nugget in the first place).

The best way to insure you are satisfied with your purchase is to simply make sure beforehand that this is indeed a purchase you wish to make! Please ask any and all questions you need to be sure this is the gold nugget or gold specimen for you. Questions via email may be sent to gold@akmining.com
