LeTrap Square Gold Pan This is possibly the most efficient gold pan made. The flat riffle design along edge spreads material out, instead of pinching it toward the center as in a round pan. This gives gold access to the full riffle surface, allowing faster panning and less gold loss. The seven riffles are deeper near the bottom of the pan and shallower near the top aiding in the classification of the material. The panning action is back and forwards over the riffled surface.
